Product description
Propeller shaft installations:
Assembled from a propeller, shaft sleeve, bearings, seals, thrust bearing,
flexible coupling and a shaft coupling. Just one of the many construction
methods available for both pleasure craft and commercial vessels. Our
advanced machinery can handle propeller shafts up to 14 metres in length,
of unlimited diameter and a maximum weight of 5,000 kg. Open or closed
lubrication systems using grease, water or oil as lubricant. Standard or
customised installations, which can be supplied to meet the standards of
all the main classification agencies.
Bearings:
Exalto rubber bearings for water lubrication systems are a valuable addition
to the company specialty and comply with all of Exalto B.V.'s high standards
of quality. These bearings cater for a host of nautical and industrial
applications. The specially selected nitrile rubber, grooved for maximum
lubrication, vulcanised and housed in a corrosion-resistant casing, all add
up to guaranteed durability, excellent operational reliability and
minimum friction. Available in the following versions and sizes:
- with a metal outer casing made of copper-zinc alloy
- with an epoxy resin-impregnated outer casing
- flange bearings made of centrifugally cast bronze
- shaft diameters of 20 mm to 200 mm
- larger sizes and customised versions available on request
Windshield wipers:
Exaltowindshield wipers are designed to the highest quality specifications
for use during extreme weather conditions, and this is what makes them
standard equipment on rescue boats, patrol boats, trugs and fishing
boats. The strong, light 12V or24V drive has two speeds and a 'park'
position. The wiper components are made of rustproof materials with a
weather-resistant coating to prevent reflection. The wiper blade angle
adjustment of 40° - 90° is available in two versions: in
5° steps or continuous adjustment.
