Grading machines

GeoSort is a high speed grading machine for vulnerable and round fruits, such as apples, stone fruit and (beef) tomatoes. The GeoSort is very fruit-friendly. It sorts with a speed of 8 fruits per second per lane.

SmartSort is a high speed grading machine for round fruits, such as citrus and stone fruit, kiwi fruit and tomatoes. It sorts with a speed of 12 fruits per second per lane.

CombiSort is a grading machine for vulnerable, round and elongated fruits, such as apples, pears, peppers and (beef) tomatoes. It sorts with a speed of 5 fruits per second per lane.

EasySort is an ultra high speed grading machine for citrus and stone fruit and tomatoes. It sorts with a speed 15 fruits per second per lane.

QSort is a high speed grading machine for elongated fruits, such as cucumbers, aubergines/egg plants and courgettes/zucchini. It sorts with a speed of 5 carriers per second per lane.

Measuring systems

iQS selects fruits automatically on the basis of external quality, taking 72 photographs of each fruit. This is done by means of special CCD infrared cameras, colour cameras and LED lightning.

iFA is used to determine the internal quality of a fruit. This takes brix value into account as well as internal quality characteristics such as internal browning and water core.

iPIX assesses citrus fruits for progressive defects such as translucency on the skin of the fruit. Special lamps and cameras are used for this purpose.

Using a combination of volume and weight, this programme determines the specific gravity per fruit. This makes it possible to pick out defective fruits.

Size, colour, weight and curvature.

Peripherals

The dumpers are used to empty bulk bins into water without damaging the fruits. There are various functional and expansion possibilities, depending on the type of dumper. The dumpers are modular and flexible.

The semi-automatic polybagger has been developed to improve the efficiency of your grading and packing line. It fills plastic bags with a pre-determined quantity of fruit. The GPB is a stand-alone unit that is easily connected to an existing packing belt or grader outlet.

The Binmatic is a robot that has been specially designed to move empty and/or filled bins in a horizontal or vertical direction. The Binmatic can carry out several movements simultaneously. This enables the robot to process 120 bins per hour.
