Svedex is an independent family owned company established in 1954 with their headquarters based in Varsseveld, the Netherlands. Svedex is a growing international producer of interior doors, interior doorframes and sliding door systems for both housing and commercial buildings. Continuous investments in production and product development, combined with total quality control, have resulted in a strong position of Svedex on the European market. More as 300 employees are working at the company to meet the demands of the market.

Svedex belongs to the Varus Group that has production facilities in the Netherlands and Germany and sales offices in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and France. In 2008 a new sales office will be opened in the U.K. with local staff. Svedex is specialized in producing white painted doors and frames for the housing market. For the higher segment, we have our Qube door system that are doors and frames with innovative technology and surfaces. Furthermore, Svedex’ delivery program contains laminated (CPL and HPL) and veneered doors.

Svedex is actively committed to sustainable manufacturing methods. Most of our doors are FSC certified. Timber with the FSC certification provides the security that it conforms to the highest demands in terms of social, environmentally friendly and economically sound forest administration. All white lacquered doors are produced with Svedex EPC (Electric Polymer Coating) Superlack with is the strongest lacquer for interior doors. The Superlack is resistant to light and ensures non-scratch surface.
