MAGNETO special anodes B.V. is the inventor and original manufacturer of inert titanium based anodes ith an active precious metal (MMO) and platinum coating. During several decades experience gained has llowed us to determine the appropriate anode for each individual application.
We are an independent company, specializing in the development, manufacture and sales for the lectrochemical industry. The refurbishment and replacement of electrochlorination cells for seawater lectrolysis are also part of our product portfolio.
A very large variety of anodes for applications in almost every possible electrochemical systems and processes are being designed, produced and supplied by us.

Because of a very flexible production facility, we are able to manufacture anodes of all types :
sheet, disc, plate, mesh, wire, rod, tubular (also string anodes and mountings).

Their size and number vary from several cm2 to 2 m2 and from 1 to 10,000 pieces.

The process in which the anodes are used determines size, shape and coating specification of an anode. Size and shape are determined by :

• The electrochemical cell or installation wherein the anodes are used.

• The process conditions, such as electrolyte composition, temperature, current density, design life, etc.

• Mechanical load of the anode.

• Capacity of electrical conductivity of the base material.
